Scotland - Online Preparing to Export Programme
The Preparing to Export Programme is primarily for companies that are new to exporting or have received international orders for the first time.
It helps them understand the practicalities of exporting and prepare their business for exporting and international trade.
In 2021 Giraffe Consulting developed a blended learning version of the Preparing to Export Programme for Scottish Development International.
The programme includes 12 online modules which walk participants through the process of creating a practical ‘Export Plan’ that they then develop in detail with the support of Giraffe Consulting's advisors through a series of virtual group workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions.
Scottish Development International, Giraffe Consulting and Mind Tools for Business won the Gold Award for 'Best Use of Blended Learning' at the Learning Technologies Awards 2021 for this blended learning training programme.

Preparing for International Virtual Sales Meetings
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) commissioned Giraffe Consulting to develop this programme to help companies sell internationally through virtual meetings, as a result of the COVID pandemic.
The course helps companies feel more confident and comfortable to sell in virtual meetings with international buyers.
The programme consists of 2 x ½ day interactive group workshop webinars plus a one hour 1:1 for each company, helping them strengthen their presentation and learn from a role play meeting with an international buyer.
